• The Alberta Underwater Council is the governing body for underwater sporting activities in the Province of Alberta.
• AUC is dedicated to the growth and development of all underwater related sports and its athletes.

The Alberta Underwater Archaeology Society provides an interesting alternative for the sport diver. The Society conducts activities in compliance with existing regulations and within archaeology principles so as not to unintentionally destroy prominent cultural resources. The plaque placed on the barge at the bottom of Patricia Lake at Jasper, marking Operation Habakkuk is an example of the Society's work.

As per AUC BYLAWS: For Divers; membership runs for one year from end of month of your sign up date, renewed yearly with a 30 day grace period. Membership for Underwater Sports and/or other Youth groups runs from Sept 1st to Aug 31st the following year (follows school calendar year).             Memberships are encouraged & are available prior to "Dive Alberta" events.

The AUC "Underwater Alberta" Newsletter is sent at least 3x per year Spring, Summer, Fall/Winter Editions. An monthly AUC EMAIL Newsletter is sent out whenever possible for timely receipt of notice of events & happenings of interest to AUC members!

Donation Fund

The ASRPWF has established the Donation Fund Program to assist recognized not-for-profit sport and recreation organizations, and athletes, in obtaining financial support. This program was established by the ASRPWF to help enlist donors to support sport and recreation development. 

Donations $250 & over are eligible for Tax Donation Receipt. See their website for further explanation of the donation fund program at: http://www.tprc.alberta.ca/asrpwf/getinvolved/donation/index.asp
